In the Summer 2017 edition of the BAE Systems (MAI) company magazine ‘Heads Up’ an article was published describing how club members helped an employee realise his father-in-law’s aim of building and flying a Tiger Moth biplane.
The article also features Jacob Cleverley, whose decision to join BAE Systems as an apprentice was influenced by the Model Aircraft Club.

As I’m sure most of you know, I do the indoor flying thing at the Lightning Club in Warton. Up to now, I’ve been content to fly a Blade mSR micro heli and an Eflite Beast biplane.
